Directions to the Conference

The 2025 NCWCA Conference will be held at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). UNR is centrally located in Reno, NV, just off of I-80.

The conference events will be held in the Pennington Student Achievement Center (PSAC) and Ansari Business (AB) on campus. Parking for conference attendees will be available in the Brian J. Whalen parking garage.

Coming East on I-80:

Use the 2nd lane from the right to take Exit 13 onto Maple Street
Turn left onto N. Virginia St.
Continue North for about half a mile before turning right into the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex

Coming West on I-80:

Use the right lane to take Exit 13 onto E. 8th St.
Turn right onto N. Virginia St.
Continue North for about half a mile before turning right into the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex

Coming North on 395:

Use the right two lanes to take Exit 36B to merge onto I-80
Use the right lane to take Exit 13 onto E. 8th St.
Turn right onto N. Virginia St.
Continue North for about half a mile before turning right into the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex

Coming South on 395:

Take Exit 68 to merge onto I-80 W
Use the right lane to take Exit 13 onto E. 8th St.
Turn right onto N. Virginia St.
Continue North for about half a mile before turning right into the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex

Walking Directions to Pennington Student Achievement Center (PSAC) and Ansari Business (AB)

Exit the Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex towards the University. The exit will be on the bottom floor towards the Southeastern point of the complex.
Walk towards the Fitzgerald Student Services building. It will be on your right and have a circular courtyard in front of its entrance.
Cross the curved road to reach the pedestrian walkways. Take the large, descending walkway to the right (do not take the smaller path that leads left).
Continue along the walkway, passing between the Arts building on your right and the Reynolds School of Journalism on your left.
When you reach the pedestrian walkway intersection:
- the Pennington Student Achievement Center (PSAC) is located on the right. The entrance is on the North side of the building (the side closest to you). The main conference space, PSAC room 113, is located to the right and slightly behind the staircase in the center of the building.
- the Ansari Business (AB) building is located on the left. Concurrent sessions will be held on the first and second floors in rooms 107, 108, 206, 209, and 212.
